CO2 reduction program at ASIAPACK.PL
Nowadays reducing CO2 emissions is a priority for companies. Our company is no exception and has taken a number of measures to reduce its carbon footprint. We have implemented a one-year program to reduce CO2 emissions.
Our CO2 reducution programm includes:
- PV in all our locations
- changing all forklifts to electric ones
- transport to a customer with low CO2 emissions
- Energy reduction program
- using recycled paper for production
Solar panels on the roofs of our buildings, help us generate clean energy and reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. In recent times, this is one of the most popular solutions for energy production on the premises of manufacturing companies.
100% of the electricity used in the production of our company’s honeycomb paper board is clean energy, meaning it is drawn from natural, renewable sources – the sun, wind, water and the earth’s hot core.
In our company, we are constantly looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint. We plan to replace all forklifts with electric ones by the end of 2024 in order to reduce emissions from these vehicles. In the long run, it will also save us money in fuel and maintenance costs.
Reducing electricity consumption is an important goal for our company. By controlling and optimizing energy consumption and increasing the efficiency of our production lines, we are lowering our carbon footprint every year. Consumption control involves monitoring and regulating the amount of energy used in production processes. We have implemented a tracking system that monitors the energy consumption of our machinery during the production process. In addition, we are increasing the efficiency of our lines by expanding them and investing in more efficient machinery and equipment. Through our actions, we make sure that only the necessary amount of energy is used for each task.
In order to reduce CO2, we have invested in means of transportation and lower CO2 consumption, which use less fuel and generate fewer emissions than traditional vehicles. These trucks have increased capacity, allowing us to carry more goods, making them more efficient and economical. In addition, all our trucks are EURO VI certified, which means they meet the highest European emission standards. By investing in these green trucks, we can reduce our carbon footprint while providing our customers with reliable deliveries.
At our company, we believe in sustainability and environmental responsibility. That’s why we only use recycled paper for our cartons. Our commitment to sustainability is evident in the fact that all of our paperboards are properly certified. We understand that using recycled paper in our products has its advantages. It helps to reduce waste, it also helps to save energy and resources while producing high-quality products. In addition, using recycled paper allows us to make sure that we are not contributing to deforestation or other environmental problems.
We believe in the power of nature and its ability to restore balance. That’s why we are conducting micro-action in our areas to work in harmony with nature as much as possible. We plant trees in our production areas and sow meadows to ensure biodiversity.
